Job summary

LHH US, a staffing firm, partners with a growing manufacturing company to hire a Senior Accountant for a direct-hire role onsite in Erlanger, KY. This hands-on position offers ownership of GL activity, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or complex operations preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently on onsite setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activity, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support a fast-paced month-end close process, including financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Reconcile key accounts including cash, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and bank accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with year-end close processes and preparation of audit-ready workpapers.
• Prepare and manage tax-related filings such as 1099s and support external audits and regulatory requests.
• Partner cross-functionally to support ERP system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.
• Contribute to ongoing optimization of accounting workflows and internal controls.

Our staffing firm is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Senior Accountant for a direct-hire opportunity. This position plays a key role in supporting continued business expansion, including integration efforts and increasing complexity across accounting operations.

This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys taking initiative, working independently, and being deeply involved in day-to-day accounting functions. This position will sit onsite in Erlanger, KY.
