Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. in Texas seeks an Accountant to perform routine accounting tasks for centralized corporate operations, ensuring GAAP compliance and SEC regulations.

You will assist monthly closings, reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and support audits while maintaining accurate records and contributing to business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years general ledger accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Advanced skillset with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycle closings.
• Perform financial statement review.

Job description

Accountant performs routine accounting tasks associated with centralized corporate operations. Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records for the organization in accordance with GAAP principles and SEC regulations.
