Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and regulations.
• Proven experience with journal entries, AP, AR, internal controls, audit support, and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant to join our team in the Energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an accountant to apply their skills in a fast-paced, innovative, and evolving environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our processes. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal controls, audit support, and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of our accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures as necessary.
• Provide comprehensive audit support, including the preparation of all necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
• Perform complex account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly and accurately.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for senior management, providing insightful analysis and commentary as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve financial reporting, and drive overall business performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring our accounting practices remain compliant and up-to-date.

Qualifications
