Job summary

Oceanside Builders, LLC is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and provide timely financial reporting. You will support budgeting, work with our CPA, and uphold accurate records for job costing and project accounting.

The role emphasizes ownership, accountability, and clear communication with leadership, with a preference for a hybrid work arrangement and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on responsibility for AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
• Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• High level of personal accountability and integrity.
• Construction or project accounting experience (preferred).
• Job costing and WIP reporting experience (preferred).
• Percentage-of-completion accounting knowledge (preferred).
• Schedules of Values (SOV) experience (preferred).
• Retainage experience (preferred).
• Construction management software (Ressio or similar) (preferred).

You'll oversee the day-to-day accounting function, provide timely financial reporting to leadership, and play an important role in helping the business make sound financial decisions.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As Accountant, you will own the company's day-to-day accounting operations, including:

• Full-cycle Accounts Payable
• Full-cycle Accounts Receivable
• Payroll coordination
• Monthly and year-end close
• Budget support
• Working with our outside CPA
• Maintaining accurate financial systems and records
• Supporting job costing and project accounting (experience preferred but not required)

Required Qualifications
