Bishop Fleming is seeking an ambitious Manager for its Birmingham office, focusing on advising owner-managed businesses and leading an Accountancy team. The role emphasizes coaching junior staff and expanding services to clients.

You will work with Partners to grow the portfolio, develop the team, and contribute to Midlands market expansion, with flexible working options including part-time or work-from-home arrangements.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience of working within a business services environment
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• A great people manager who enjoys developing and coaching their teams
• Highly commercial with the drive to contribute towards Bishop Fleming's growth

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Accountancy team including recruitment and coaching our people to reach potential
• Build strong relationships with owner-managed business clients and offer quality trusted advisory service
• Monitor developments in the accounting marketplace to stay competitive and efficient
• Build a network of local contacts to aid business development
