Bishop Fleming is expanding its Internal Audit practice as it opens a Birmingham office, seeking an ambitious Internal Audit Assistant Manager to lead engagements and help grow the team. You will report to the Internal Audit Director and play a key role in expanding services to public sector and corporate clients.

Qualifications

• CIA/ACA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience managing a broad portfolio of audit clients across public sector and corporate sectors.
• Strong people management and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Collaborative, team‑focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan and deliver public sector and corporate internal audit engagements.
• Develop internal audit team through coaching and recruitment.
• Monitor budgets and fees for assignments.
• Manage client relationships and ensure quality service.
• Contribute to business development in your sectors.
