Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of account management experience, preferably within medical education.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations, including medical education and MLR processes.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and drive business results.
  • Proven experience in managing complex, multi-channel campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in budget management, strategic planning, and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions effectively.
  • Ability to travel (locally and nationally) up to 25% of the time.
  • Willingness to go beyond what is described in the job description and be flexible for the team, and ultimately, the work.

Responsibilities

  • Own MLR review process and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and expanded services.
  • Mentor junior account team members.
  • Track financial performance including budgets and profitability.
  • Contribute to new business via proposals and pitches.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and client guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and internal teams.

The Account Supervisor is a strategic leader responsible for managing high-level client relationships, overseeing the execution of multichannel marketing and communications initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of medical education, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration. The Account Supervisor works closely with clients to develop and execute strategic plans, ensuring projects are aligned with brand objectives, regulatory requirements, and business goals. This position is also crucial in identifying growth opportunities, mentoring junior team members, and driving operational excellence

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear communication, strategic guidance, and exceptional service
  • Lead brand strategy development in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market trends
  • Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including print, digital, and multichannel initiatives
