ACCOUNT TEAM

The Account team at Interact serves as collaborative advocates for the brilliant work that our Strategic and Creative teams are bringing to life alongside our brand partners. Our team has a deep understanding of the industry, allowing us to identify opportunities and actively seek solutions for our clients on an ongoing basis. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Account Supervisor at Interact is a critical part of the Account team. They are expected to lead projects and act as support to the Account Director and provide mentorship to Account team members. The Account Supervisor acts as a main point of contact for both the internal and client teams, managing projects from the initial kickoff through the release of final assets.

Beyond managing the success of a project from start to finish, the Account Supervisor will be expected to develop relationships with clients by building rapport, meeting or exceeding client expectations, expanding engagements and establishing Interact as the go-to partner for future opportunities.

The Account Supervisor will directly manage Senior Account Managers and Account Managers.

The Account Supervisor will report directly to the Account Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Relations
    • Develop and maintain successful relationships with key clients.
    • Position yourself as a partner for clients and advocate for the agency.
    • Lead Tier 2 and Tier 3 projects, facilitating key conversations, educating clients on our process and building meaningful relationships.
    • Immerse yourself in clients' brand, business, category, dynamics, and challenges.
    • Stay updated on relevant trends in the food and beverage industry, branding, design, innovations, and sustainability, and share client specific findings when appropriate.
    • Establish and enforce boundaries to foster a healthy working relationship.
    • Monitor projects for delays and scope creep, taking appropriate action when necessary and ensuring the Creative Services Team knows the latest and greats regarding project health.
    • Accurately record all client communications and approvals.
    • Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue from existing clients.
    • Lead meetings professionally, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Account Team Management & Development
    • Set the ideal example for the Account Team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in client management and workflows.
    • Directly manage select Senior Account Managers / Account Managers.
    • Provide oversight, ongoing mentorship, and support to the Account Team.
    • Monitor direct team's bandwidth to assess capacity for new business and ongoing work with recurring clients, providing regular updates to the Account Director for resourcing decisions and necessary lead times.
    • Partner with the Creative Services Director and Account Director to coordinate project resourcing, budgets, SOW and timelines for new with existing clients.
    • Conduct annual reviews of direct reports and work closely with the Account Director to promote, hire, and shape the Account Team for optimal output.
    • Delegate tasks clearly and concisely to relevant support Account Team members.
    • Ensure projects stay on track, adhering to agreed upon timelines and budgets.
    • Collaborate with the Account Director or Managing Director to troubleshoot and resolve client issues.
    • Lead Account Team meetings when applicable, sharing best practices and learnings.
    • Share thought leadership and industry-relevant articles to stay up to date on trends.
    • Provide growth opportunities for the Account Team and encourage ongoing education.
  • Creative Process and Project Management
    • Collaborate with Creative and Strategic leads to guide the creation of concepts and deliverables aligned with client objectives.
    • Contribute ideas, manage or delegate research, strategy, and creative initiatives.
    • Thoroughly understand the client's brief, objectives, and guidelines to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
    • Drive highest possible quality control in all agency services and deliverables.
    • Ensure thorough proofreading of presentations, mechanical files, etc., or delegate as needed.
    • Maintain accurate daily timekeeping using the agency's time management software, meeting a minimum of 85% billable time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6-8 years of experience in the branding, design, and/or advertising industry
  • 3-5 years of experience leading clients & projects
  • 1+ years experience mentoring and/or managing junior team members
  • Available to work 9am-5pm MST Monday-Friday
  • Location: Remote or in-studio in Austin, TX or Boulder, CO
  • Remote employees must be located in these states: CA, CO, TX, MA, NY, OH, WA

SALARY

$85,000 - $110,000

Starting base salary depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.

This position is eligible for bonus pay.
