The Angela Young Agency in Watkinsville, Georgia is seeking a motivated Account Representative to help individuals, families, and businesses find the right insurance coverage while building a personal client book.

This in-person position emphasizes developing relationships, meeting sales goals, and delivering a professional customer experience from initial quote to policy issuance. Prior insurance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to attain Insurance property and casualty license, if not already held.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong learning aptitude for new systems.

We are looking for a motivated, personable Account Representative to join our growing agency. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and being rewarded for their performance.

You will help individuals, families, and businesses find the right insurance coverage while developing new client relationships and growing your own book of business.

Insurance experience is preferred, but we are also interested in candidates with a strong background in sales, customer service, banking, automotive sales, real estate, or other relationship-driven industries.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new business through referrals, networking, outbound calls, community involvement, and agency leads
• Quote and sell auto, home, life, commercial, and other insurance products
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Follow up with prospects and maintain an active sales pipeline
• Cross-sell additional products to current clients
• Meet individual and agency sales goals
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in agency systems
• Stay knowledgeable about insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and available discounts
• Provide a professional and positive customer experience from the initial quote through policy issuance
