LOCATION: This position works from a remote home office and will reside in or near the Kansas City KS area.

Overview

You will be part of the Health Learning, Research & Practice (HLRP) Business Unit within Wolters Kluwer Health. This role is challenging and fulfilling. Success requires a drive to continuously learn and help nursing higher educational institutions adopt more effective learning models. The territory will mainly cover Kansas and Nebraska (and neighboring areas). You will sell products such as CoursePoint+ (course materials), DocuCare (EHR), VSIM/VRClinicals (virtual patient simulation), and Lippincott Ready for NCLEX (testing prep).

You will manage a territory of accounts and work for an organization committed to building effective performance conditions. You will have a Regional Sales Manager to support your career growth and help you learn emerging sales and marketing best practices. This role is pivotal in advancing Wolters Kluwer Health's position in nursing education, especially in digital solutions, with uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to meet sales objectives through prospecting and account management
  • Create sales strategies for prospects and assigned accounts; manage deals through the sales cycle
  • Communicate with customers regarding account issues, concerns, and suggestions
  • Negotiate service and product terms with clients
  • Collaborate with sales, order processing, and customer support teams to develop solutions
  • Handle add-on sales for existing clients
  • Use Salesforce CRM to process, track, and organize client information
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

Experience: 3+ years in Account Management, Sales, or similar roles

  • Understanding of business, financials, products & services, and market dynamics; recognized for industry expertise
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage territory and accounts effectively, monitoring resources accordingly
Travel

Up to 4 days of travel per week
