LOCATION: This position works from a remote home office and will reside in or near the Kansas City KS area.

Overview

You will be part of the Health Learning, Research & Practice (HLRP) Business Unit within Wolters Kluwer Health. This role is challenging and fulfilling. To succeed, you will be driven to continuously learn and help nursing higher educational institutions adopt more effective learning models. The territory will mainly include Kansas and Nebraska, along with neighboring areas. You will sell products such as CoursePoint+ (course materials), DocuCare (EHR), VSIM/VRClinicals (virtual patient simulation), and Lippincott Ready for NCLEX (testing prep).

You will manage a territory of accounts and work for an organization committed to building effective performance conditions. You will have a Regional Sales Manager as a coach to support your career growth and help you learn emerging sales and marketing best practices. Your role will be instrumental in advancing Wolters Kluwer Health's position in nursing education, especially in digital solutions, with uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve sales goals through prospecting and account management.
  • Create sales strategies for prospects and assigned accounts, managing deals through the sales cycle.
  • Communicate with customers regarding account issues, concerns, and suggestions.
  • Negotiate service and product terms with clients.
  • Report and develop solutions in collaboration with sales, order processing, and customer support teams.
  • Handle additional sales opportunities for existing clients.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to process, track, and organize client information.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in Account Management, Sales, or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of business, financials, products, services, and market dynamics, with a reputation for industry expertise.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage your territory and accounts effectively and monitor resources accordingly.

Travel: Up to 4 days per week.
