Job summary

CFS, a family-owned construction and services organization based in Carmel, IN, is recruiting an Accounts Payable Manager for an onsite role. This key position oversees a centralized AP function, partnering with the Controller and Corporate Accounting to strengthen controls and modernize processes.

You will lead the corporate AP team, manage invoices, coding, and weekly payments, and ensure vendor setup and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Experience supervising an AP team in a high-volume setting.
• Strong proficiency with AP software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the centralized corporate AP team.
• Oversee invoice processing, coding, approvals, and weekly payments.
• Maintain vendor setup and ACH/wire enrollments.
• Reconcile AP ledgers and support month-end close.

• Lead and mentor the Corporate AP team by providing training, guidance, and performance oversight as the Accounts Payable Manager.
• Oversee invoice processing, coding accuracy, tax review, approvals, and weekly payment cycles.
• Manage vendor setup, compliance documentation, ACH/wire enrollments, and ongoing vendor relationships.
• Reconcile AP ledger accounts, review aging reports, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support the month-end close, audit requests, and documentation of AP policies and procedures as the Accounts Payable Manager.
