Job description

Summary

Responsible for supporting the account management and sales teams while learning all aspects of customer relationship management, project coordination, and service delivery. This entry‑level role is designed to develop future Account Managers through hands‑on training, mentorship, and exposure to day‑to‑day business operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Account Managers in managing customer accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and timely response to inquiries.
Learn company products, services, and processes to effectively support customer needs.
Help prepare quotes, proposals, and service agreements.
Support the coordination of projects, scheduling, and communication between departments.
Track and follow up on customer requests, orders, and service issues.
Maintain accurate records in CRM or account management systems.
Participate in meetings with clients and internal teams to understand account management strategies.
Gather and analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
Learn to manage renewals, service expansions, and upselling opportunities.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Computer Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM software a plus.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; regularly required to sit and use hands, talk or hear, stand; walk and reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
