Role Description

Account managers proactively assist our existing clients with policy questions, changes, updates, and claims. They maintain and build lasting relationships with clients while reaffirming our value to them during each interaction.

Responsibilities

The position is a customer care role, with some sales/marketing responsibilities:

  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service includes responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Qualifications

  • Prior State Farm or insurance experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
  • Must have Property and Casualty license, or be able to obtain
  • Experience managing client relationships is preferred
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office and Internet
  • Coachability
  • Professional courtesy and reliability
  • High level of communication skills
