We're looking for an Account Manager with at least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing, revenue-generating role to manage and grow client accounts through contract renewals, up-sells, and cross-sells. This role requires excellent communication skills, relationship management expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts through contract renewals, up-sells, and cross-sells
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to drive business growth
  • Present products and services to corporate accounts and identify new sales opportunities
  • Ensure customer issues are acknowledged and resolved within 24 hours
  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Services teams to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities and maintain a well-managed sales pipeline




Requirements

  • Experience in last-mile logistics: Background in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain operations
  • Experience in a software company: Familiarity with SaaS products, particularly in a B2B environment
  • Sales experience: Previous role in sales with a focus on account growth, ideally with quota-carrying responsibilities
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication is required
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Problem-Solving: Ensuring customer issues are acknowledged and resolved within 24 hours
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-changing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across internal departments, including product and professional services




Nice to have

  • Deep experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain: Beyond basic industry knowledge, a strong background in these areas is a plus
  • Strong technical aptitude in software: Ability to quickly understand and explain technical aspects of software solutions in a business context
  • Business generalist mindset: Experience working across multiple business functions, including accounting, operations, and sales
  • Experience with sales and communication tools: Familiarity with sales enablement platforms, co-pilot tools, or automation software to enhance client engagement
  • Experience with AI tools, such as note-taking applications or platforms like ChatGPT, to streamline workflows and enhance productivity
