Job Description

This is a remote position.

Catalyx is seeking an Account Manager to join our team in Boston, MA, Rhode Island or New England.

The Role:

As Account Manager you will play a key role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and capturing new opportunities and fostering long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will be a hunter-type sales professional with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets. You will also demonstrate strong relationship-building skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment. This position demands a results-oriented individual with a passion for technology and its impact on the life sciences industry.

Success in this role will require the mindset to pursue new business aggressively, combined with the expertise to manage and grow existing accounts.

You will be expected to deeply understand the needs of our customers, align those needs with our innovative vision and process automation solutions and deliver compelling value propositions. If you are a proactive, strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, we want you on our team.

Catalyx has a compelling business model, strong differentiation and tremendous long-term growth prospects. The role is primarily based in North Carolina but may require periodic travel to customer sites in other regions.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the Pharma/ Life Sciences industry.
  3. Understand customer needs and provide solutions that align with their objectives.
  4. Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales campaigns.
  5. Collaborate with our Pre-Sales and Customer Success teams to prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to prospective customers.
  6. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports as part of the reporting rhythm of the company.
Skills and Experience:
  1. At least 5 years sales experience in vision or process automation solutions delivering to the life sciences market.
  2. A hunter mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify and close new business opportunities with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  3. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  4. Familiarity with vision solutions, imaging systems, process automation or related technologies in the life sciences sector is essential.
  5. Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
