Main Purpose of the Job

As an Account Manager for Biosynth, your responsibilities include managing relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and addressing any issues that arise.

You will also stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' strategies. Collaboration with other departments such as marketing, R&D, production, and QC may be required to meet customer needs and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential customers in the chemicals sector.
  • Understand and promote the features and benefits of the company's chemical products.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide customer support and resolve issues or complaints.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience in sales or account management within the pharma, chemical manufacturing, or life sciences industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building.
  • Proven sales success and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Knowledge of the chemicals industry and product specifications.
  • Analytical skills for market research and trend identification.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in tools such as SAP is desirable.

This is a remote position covering the US market, with travel expected for conferences, customer visits, and visits to offices in Gardner/Louisville. Occasional travel to Europe may also be required.
