Job description

We're currently seeking a driven, consultative, and strategic Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team in the greater Raleigh, NC area.

Location: This is a fully-remote position based out of Raleigh, NC, greater Raleigh area, or Florida.

Travel: Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% domestically across territory including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.


Salary: This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range for this role is $80,000- $100,000, and the base salary can adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.

This position qualifies for an incentive bonus.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the relationship. Connect with current and prospective clients to understand their scientific goals and offer tailored solutions from our expansive portfolio.

  • Drive growth. Achieve revenue targets by building and executing strategic account plans, managing a robust pipeline, and uncovering new opportunities.

  • Stay sharp. Maintain up-to-date knowledge in life sciences, including competitive intelligence, product insights, and market trends.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with internal teams to ensure clients receive exceptional service and innovative solutions.

  • Be a face of Envigo. Represent the brand at scientific meetings, in client meetings, and through every professional interaction.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years sales experience in the life sciences marketplace working with large academic and government accounts or CRO required.

  • Bachelor's in Life or Animal Science or other applicable area or equivalent combination of Associate's in Veterinary Technology and industry knowledge required.

  • AALAS Certification preferred.

  • Must possess valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

  • Ability to travel upwards of 50%; domestic. Must live within the RTP area of NC.

  • Maintaining a professional appearance, be very energetic, and hold excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with external and internal customers.

  • Strong consultative selling skills and proven capability to close sales.

  • Be detail-oriented and Customer Centric.

  • Possessing excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, a CRM tool or Salesforce.com.

  • Strong problem solving and relationship management skills.

  • Exhibiting independent decision-making ability.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
