Job Description:

This role involves marketing, prospecting, and selling American Family Insurance products across all lines. It maintains effective customer relationships, understands customer needs, and matches them with suitable products and services. Additionally, it promotes brand awareness through participation in agency and community events.

Insurance Sales:
  • Help the agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers
  • Prospect and secure new business through individual effort and established lead methods including calls, networking, events, trade shows, and personal contacts
  • Conduct sales and review appointments with prospective and current clients
Company and Brand Promotion:
  • Develop, maintain, and cultivate community contacts to enhance agency visibility and maximize new business opportunities
  • Participate in events designed to promote brand awareness and educate consumers
Role Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently, plan, prioritize, and organize work
  • Active involvement in the local community
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proficiency with PC software (Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year sales or similar experience preferred, but not required
  • Property & Casualty and Life Insurance licenses required before employment (reimbursement offered)
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Guaranteed commission salary

  • Work hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Central Time
