Job summary

Rent-A-Center is hiring an Account Manager to manage rental accounts, deliver excellent customer service, and drive account performance. The role includes deliveries, pickups, and early-stage collections, with strong emphasis on building lasting customer relationships and meeting sales goals.

The position offers full-time hours, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement within the store network. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise and drive a box truck.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build strong relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly targets.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments using provided tools.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups, and follow-ups; install and transport merchandise.
• Deliver white-glove service in-store, over the phone, and to customers' homes.
• Support sales growth by generating new rental agreements and maintaining showroom standards.
