Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring for an Account Manager I in a Hybrid role. You will support Producers and Marketing Account Executives by marketing and servicing new and renewal business, and maintaining knowledge of coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes to foster client and carrier relationships.

The role emphasizes renewal management, client service, and collaboration with internal teams to present renewals and explore market options.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of industry-specific experience.
• LOB designations (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships by phone, email and in person.
• Assist assigned clients and teammates with service questions related to administration, billing, claims issues and problem solving.
• Monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients and provide analysis and coverage recommendations.
• Coordinate meetings to present renewals and supporting documents to gain acceptance or explore market options.
• Prepare marketing information or provide required information to a marketing person.
• Schedule and conduct teammate meetings and complete the implementation process.
• Prepare and deliver all applicable forms to clients.
• Use client management systems to update policies, log activities, and track follow-ups.
• Provide administrative support on special projects and new ideas/ services.
• Attend seminars and carrier meetings to stay informed on products and legislative changes.
