Job summary

Sharonview Federal Credit Union in Fort Mill, SC seeks an Account Manager I to help members overcome financial challenges and maintain strong relationships. You will contact members by phone, email, and mail to understand circumstances, propose workable repayment solutions, and support loss mitigation efforts while upholding privacy and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in customer service, strong communication skills, and a proactive, calm, problem-solving mindset;

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum in customer service is required.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or credit unions is a plus.
• Strong communication, listening and explaining skills are essential.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Contact members with delinquent accounts to encourage repayment and reduce delinquencies.
• Build relationships with members via phone, email, and mail to understand circumstances.
• Negotiate repayment arrangements and explore payment plans or deferments.
• Document interactions and maintain accurate records in systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to support loss mitigation and compliance.
