Rent-A-Center is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to manage rental accounts, deliver excellent customer service, and drive account performance at our Lumberton, NC location. The role includes deliveries, pickups, and early-stage collections, with opportunities for growth within the RAC framework.

The position emphasizes building strong customer relationships, maintaining store standards, and contributing to sales growth while adhering to company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments using management tools.
• Complete deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove service in-store, over the phone, and at customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines.
