Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee a book of business with a focus on construction, contractors, and habitational risks. The role supports retention, renewals, and client service across policy administration, billing, and claims.

The candidate will lead day-to-day activities of the account management team, maintain carrier relationships, and ensure data accuracy in agency systems while delivering proactive service.

Qualifications

• Active property & casualty license required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in insurance brokerage and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Renewal process: research, submissions, negotiate coverages, present proposals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect delinquent balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
