Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business with emphasis on construction, contractors and habitational risks. The role requires a valid P&C license and offers a hybrid work model with some on-site days; fully remote work is possible for certain time zones.

You will lead account management activities, handle policy administration, renewals, billing and claims support while maintaining data accuracy in agency systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance.
• Active property & casualty licensing is required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to retain accounts and support growth.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities; resolve issues.
• Oversee policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis.
• Renewals: research, submissions, and negotiation of coverages.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Lead the account management team and ensure timely work.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the team.
