Job summary

Insurance Office of America is hiring an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain clients, and support new business through policy administration, billing, renewals, and service excellence.

Hybrid preferred with 1 day in the Binghamton, NY or Syracuse, NY office, or fully remote for applicants residing in Eastern or Central Time Zones. A valid P&C license is required; CIC designation is a plus and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license required
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and agency management systems

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book, ensure retention and support new business
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Monitor expirations and renewals; negotiate coverages when needed
