The Client Advisor is responsible for delivering the best possible service experience to both current and prospective business risk clients. Client Advisors promote, foster, and manage both new and current client relationships.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
• Completes the application process for new and renewal business, including follow through with the customer and carrier to ensure an efficient and timely process
• Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items. Facilitates corrections, when needed, and forwards to client with appropriate correspondence
• Reviews renewal policies for risk exposures. Informs and educates customers about coverage, exclusions and exposures. Works with client to design insurance plan based on this information
• Solicits additional lines of business and referrals, completes submissions and markets with core carriers, when possible
• Reviews policy audits for accuracy and works with the customer and company to facilitate corrections
• Completes company requests including, but not limited to, non-renewals, statements of value, and loss control recommendations
• Sets up customer access to Zywave and assists with questions
• Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals
• Works with client on policy cancellations and aged receivable issues
• Participates in industry continuing education for new product information, legislation, coverage, technology, and attends carrier meetings.
• Assists or completes other tasks as directed by the VP/SVP Producer and/or Business Risk Practice Leader
