About the Role

  • Collaborate closely with risk advisors and other team members on client service, marketing, and renewal activities.
  • Provide professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, and partners, aiming for high account retention.
  • Handle calls from insured customers regarding endorsements, cancellations, remarkets/rewrites, claims, and inquiries.
  • Use sales and customer service skills to listen, build rapport, identify needs, offer solutions, and enhance client retention.
  • Utilize third-party systems like carrier sites and Applied Epic effectively for customer handling.
  • Ensure all endorsements, audits, cancellations, claims, finance agreements, certificates, and requests are processed accurately and promptly.

Skills and Experience Needed

  • Active P&C license or ability to obtain one upon hire.
  • Prior experience in the commercial lines insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Bonus Points

  • 3+ years of commercial lines account management experience.
  • Experience with agency management systems, especially Applied Epic.
