Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Senior Account Manager in Business Insurance to manage client relationships, analyze coverage, and drive growth. You will negotiate with carriers, prepare proposals, and resolve billing issues while mentoring associates.

The role requires 5+ years in Business Insurance, a Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain it in 90 days), and relevant designations. A strong professional track record is expected within a diverse, inclusive culture.

• Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain) within 90 days of employment.
• Insurance designations (e.g., INS, AAI, CISR) or demonstrated knowledge of Business Insurance coverages.

As our Senior Account Manager on the Business Insurance team, you will manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth. Providing coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers, preparing proposals, and resolving billing issues will be part of your day-to-day. You will also mentor our Client Service Associates by developing their policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Insurance
• Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain in 90 days of employment)
• Insurance designations (i.e. INS, AAI, CISR) or demonstrated knowledge of Business Insurance coverages.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• Working towards CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU designations or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and ability.

Salary and Benefits

The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
