Insurance Office Of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines. The role offers remote work eligibility for residents of CA, NV, OR, WA and AZ, with hybrid onsite requirements sometimes.

You will provide admin support, service delivery, renewals, and account management under supervision. The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license, bring 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, and excel in customer service, communication, and problem

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in insurance
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Assist in directing day-to-day activities and workflow of team support and reception.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, underwriting information gathering, loss run analysis, submissions and pricing negotiations.
• Process tasks accurately and within required timeframes.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity and ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively anticipate needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
