Nelson Exteriors, a 48-year Georgia-based exterior remodeling company in Atlanta, is seeking a detail-oriented AP/Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. You will ensure accurate payroll, timely payments, and precise job costing to support project profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AP/payroll experience.
• Proficient in Google Suite and payroll software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll by accurately tracking hours, wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
• Handle accounts payable, including acquiring, verifying, and processing invoices to ensure vendors and subcontractors are paid on time.
• Assist in reconciling accounts with the accountant and resolving discrepancies.
• Track job-related costs and ensure financial accuracy for each project.
• Ensure payroll, garnishments, and benefits distribution comply with regulations.
• Prepare financial reports and assist in audits.
• Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and vendors.
• Collaborate with project managers to streamline financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payroll by accurately tracking employee hours, wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience as an AP/Payroll Specialist or Payroll Manager
• Highly proficient in Google Suite and payroll software
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Knowledge of payroll, benefits, garnishments, and compliance
• Trustworthy with high integrity
