Jobtailor is seeking a capable account liaison to drive the sales and order lifecycle for municipal and contractor projects. You will work closely with engineering and estimating teams to prepare quotes, submittals, and documentation, while tracking opportunities and maintaining CRM records.

The role emphasizes independent project management, strong communication, and adherence to ASTM standards, with occasional travel for local day trips in the Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related subject matter is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of ASTM standards and specifications relevant to wastewater structures preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.
  • Must be able to remain sitting for 50% of the time.
  • Background check conducted.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments throughout the sales and order lifecycle.
  • Conduct Insight platform searches to identify viable public and private leads.
  • Monitor and track Capital Improvement Projects for early-stage opportunities.
  • Evaluate developer-driven projects and private sector demand.
  • Interface with contractors, municipalities, and engineers to understand project requirements.
  • Prepare and issue accurate, prioritized quotes using internal platforms.
  • Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to verify quote feasibility.
  • Prepare and distribute complete submittal packages with required documentation.
  • Manage revisions, engineering calculations, and redlines.
  • Communicate submittal status and changes proactively to customers.
  • Facilitate transition from quote to release, verifying purchase orders, drawings, and job codes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Send release confirmations and introductions to project managers.
  • Support Sales Managers at trade shows, customer visits, and job site visits as needed.
  • Log daily activities, account conversations, emails, tasks, and phone calls in the CRM.
  • Build and maintain account pages for municipalities/water authorities, engineering firms, and contractors.
  • Manage opportunity and task pipelines.
  • Provide weekly feedback on customer issues and required improvements.
  • Provide quarterly updates to management on customer-experience improvements.
  • Participate in weekly plant Operations Daily Huddles, project-release discussions, organizational meetings, and Armorock committees
