Job summary

ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. in North Mankato, MN is seeking an Account Manager to defend and grow key North American customers, managing contracts, pricing, and delivery expectations.

You will build relationships with customer engineering teams, lead cross-functional response efforts, and travel 25–50% to support sites and customers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 7+ years in B2B sales management, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of B2B sales management experience, preferably with Tier 1 suppliers.
• Ability to travel across North America; strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support operational planning and manage price lists and adjustments.
• Ensure KPIs are under control and identify new market opportunities.

About the Team

The sales team drives business growth and customer satisfaction through strong relationships, customer engagement, market analysis, and sales strategy. The team collaborates with engineering, product management, and logistics to introduce new products and enhance existing ones, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a positive work environment.

The position can report out of our North Mankato, MN, Northville, MI or Vernon Hills, IL location.

Your profile as Account Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields; Master’s preferred
• 7+ years of experience in Sales Management (B2B; preferably Tier 1 suppliers)
• Experience in complex/matrix organizations
• Technical knowledge of complex engineering products
• Proactive, assertive, and good communication skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel in North America (and sometimes overseas)
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP
• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to continuous improvement
• Fluent in English

The expected base compensation for this role is $103,800 to $125,000 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
