Job summary

Cameron Smith & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Amazon Account Manager to own a growing CPG brand on Amazon and drive sales, profitability, and market share. You will work with leadership and cross-functional teams to turn data into a compelling business story in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Amazon/eCommerce, sales, or category management.
  • Experience managing or supporting a CPG brand on Amazon preferred.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills with large data sets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day performance and growth initiatives for a key Amazon brand.
  • Analyze Amazon and performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Translate data into insights, recommendations, and actionable plans.
  • Develop updates and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize digital shelf, content, search, and inventory.
  • Monitor trends and adapt strategies quickly.
  • Support forecasting, P&L analysis, and profitability initiatives.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and customer partners.
  • Own projects with a high degree of independence.

Job description

We are seeking an Amazon Account Manager to take ownership of a growing CPG business on Amazon and help drive sales, profitability, market share, and eCommerce growth. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced leadership, influence business strategy, and develop expertise in one of the fastest-growing channels in CPG.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical, commercially minded professional who understands Amazon and can turn data into a compelling business story. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Digital Commerce, and Supply Chain while having meaningful exposure to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys solving problems, moving quickly, and operating in a constantly changing eCommerce environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Own day-to-day business performance and growth initiatives for a key CPG brand on Amazon.
  • Analyze Amazon, syndicated, and business performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and actionable business plans.
  • Develop and present business updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner with internal teams to optimize digital shelf, content, search, shopper marketing, inventory, and overall Amazon execution.
  • Monitor Amazon trends, customer dynamics, and marketplace changes and quickly adapt strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to test, learn, and improve business performance.
  • Support forecasting, P&L analysis, and initiatives designed to improve profitability and supply chain efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customer partners.
  • Take ownership of projects and business priorities with a high degree of independence.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Amazon/eCommerce, sales, category management, customer development, or related experience.
  • Experience managing or supporting a CPG business on Amazon is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to work comfortably with large amounts of data.
  • Experience using Amazon data, Vendor Central, Seller Central, NielsenIQ, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data to business outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities can change quickly.
