About the Role

Airgas is seeking an Account Manager to support our Specialty Products business. The role involves owning your territory, building and maintaining customer relationships, and managing gross margins. Candidates should be capable of converting prospects into long-term customers.

Position Details

This is a remote position, ideally based in Delphos, OH, Indianapolis, IN, or Detroit, MI, with travel to meet customers.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and enhance relationships with current customers.
  2. Develop and build relationships with prospects.
  3. Prepare complex bids showcasing our value proposition.
  4. Prepare quotes, supply agreements, and internal documentation.
  5. Generate reports of business transactions and expenses.
  6. Develop strong internal relationships with operations.
  7. Create a territory business plan regularly.
  8. Maintain sales activity reports using Excel and our CRM system.
  9. Travel overnight as needed within the territory.
  10. Take on additional key assignments as requested.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience selling industrial, food, or chemical products to businesses. Technical knowledge is a plus.
