Airgas is seeking an Account Manager supporting our Specialty Products business. The successful candidate will own their territory, managing relationships with existing customers, building new prospects, and maintaining gross margins. Candidates should be able to convert prospects into long-term customers.

This is a remote position; candidates should reside near Delphos, OH, Indianapolis, IN, or Detroit, MI for travel purposes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with current customers.
• Develop and expand relationships with prospects to keep the sales funnel full.
• Prepare complex bids showcasing our value proposition.
• Prepare quotes, supply agreements, and internal documentation.
• Report on business transactions and expenses.
• Build strong internal relationships with operations.
• Develop and maintain a territory business plan.
• Maintain sales activity reports using Excel and our CRM system.
• Travel overnight as needed to manage the sales territory.
• Perform other key assignments as required.

Are you a MATCH?

Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience selling industrial, food, or chemicals to businesses. Technical knowledge is a plus.
