Job description

For over 30 years, Exhibit Network has delivered custom trade show exhibits and full turnkey services from our Houston headquarters. We handle planning, custom design, fabrication, logistics, labor coordination, and storage for clients ranging from multinational energy companies to high-growth startups. Our clients exhibit across the U.S. and internationally in more than 15 countries.

The Role

We’re looking for an Account Manager to own and grow our most important client relationships. Reporting directly to our CEO, you’ll be the strategic lead for a portfolio of key accounts, including multi-show, multi-division programs in industries such as energy, tech, and medical devices. You’ll make sure every client feels understood, informed, and in good hands.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of key accounts
  • Lead discovery with clients to understand business objectives, budgets, and desired outcomes, then recommend the right solution (custom builds, modular systems, rentals, or hybrid programs)
  • Guide clients through total-cost decisions across exhibit options, show services, shipping, and material handling so they avoid costly redesigns and hidden fees
  • Build annual show calendars and program strategies with clients, positioning their trade show spend as a revenue driver rather than a cost center
  • Partner with our Senior Project Managers, Creative Director, Production and Warehouse to hand off projects cleanly and keep them on schedule and on budget
  • Prepare proposals, estimates, and pricing in coordination with leadership
  • Lead responses to RFPs and vendor qualification requests, including case studies, references, and timelines
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities: graphics refreshes, A/V integration, meeting spaces, product displays, repair and refurbishment, storage, and our asset management portal
  • Run post-show debriefs with clients and turn feedback into improvements for the next show
  • Attend key shows on-site to support clients and strengthen relationships
  • Maintain accurate account records and pipeline reporting, and report regularly to the CEO on account health, revenue, and growth
What You Bring
  • [5+] years of account management, client services, or business development experience, ideally in trade show exhibits, events, experiential marketing, or a related B2B service industry
  • A track record of retaining and growing high-value accounts
  • Working knowledge of the trade show process: show services, rigging and electrical orders, union labor, show deadlines, shipping, and material handling (or the ability to learn it quickly)
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills; comfortable presenting to marketing leaders, executives, and procurement teams
  • Ability to read and explain exhibit renderings, floor plans, and estimates to clients
  • Highly organized, responsive, and calm under deadline pressure
  • Experience with CRM and project management tools (Monday.com a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
Why Exhibit Network
  • Report directly to the CEO with real influence on how we serve and grow our biggest clients
  • Work with an experienced in-house team spanning design, fabrication, warehouse, and project management under one roof
  • A company built on honesty and integrity, with long-standing client relationships and strong reviews to show for it
  • Compensation: based on experience
  • Benefits: health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match
