Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking an Account Manager to coordinate with internal teams and manage client relationships on tradeshow projects, tracking production and deadlines to keep client work moving forward. The ideal candidate has at least three years in exhibit account management, is proficient in MS Office and Google Docs, and is willing to travel up to 25%.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office and show-site work about 3 days per week, based in several U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma or equivalent with relevant experience acceptable.
  • Minimum 3 years in exhibit account management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  • Able to communicate clearly and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work with internal departments and client teams.
  • Track production and deadlines to ensure progress.
  • Schedule and manage account, design and production meetings.
  • Direct show service requirements with Client Services.
  • Manage client estimates and invoicing.
  • Lead project management for small projects under Account Director.
  • Prepare written correspondence as directed.
  • Manage graphic needs and approvals.
  • Travel to client sites and supervise install/dismantle with vendors.
  • Align with the company's mission and values.
  • Collaborate as a team to deliver value.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Summary

The Account Manager will act as liaison on specific account projects by coordinating work with all internal departments; facilitating information between design, detailing, estimating, production, client(s) and Account Director(s) and tracking production and deadlines to ensure continued progress of client workflow. Be responsible for all of the daily tactical activities, affording the Account Director(s) time to invest in building stronger relationships with existing clients and cultivating new clients. Applicants must have knowledge and experience in the tradeshow industry.

This position will support our Growth (Sales) team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

  • Philadelphia, PA
  • Fort Wayne, IN
  • Royal Oak, MI
  • Grand Prairie, TX
  • Las Vegas, NV
  • New York, NY
  • St. Paul, MN
  • Interact and communicate directly with client.
  • Maintain and update all internal processes, schedules and communications.
  • Schedule and manage account, design and production meetings (Account Director to participate depending on size and magnitude of project).
  • Direct/manage show service requirements with Client Services Dept.
  • Manage and process client estimates and invoicing.
  • Project management of all small projects per the direction of the Account Director.
  • Prepare all written correspondence as directed by the Account Director.
  • Management of Graphic needs, approvals and tracking.
  • Some travel required for on-site support including supervision of installtion/dismantle and third-party vendors and meeting all client needs.
  • Subscribe to the company's Mission Vision Values statement.
  • Participate as a team player in providing overall value to the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
  • A minimum of three years of exhibit account management experience in the tradeshow or related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, pro-actively determine solutions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally (verbal & written).
  • Ability to work flexible hours under extreme pressure and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage several projects at one time and changing priorities.
  • Ability to assume responsibility for completion of projects in the absence of direct supervision.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment.
