Location: Remote or hybrid in Austin, TX or NYC

Work Hours: 9AM-5PM MST

POSITION OVERVIEW

Account Manager at Interact is a critical part of the management of projects within the studio. The Account Manager is expected to manage projects and provides support to the greater Account team. The Account Manager acts as a main point of contact for both the internal and client teams, from the initial kickoff all the way to releasing final assets.

Beyond managing the success of a project from start to finish, the Account Manager will be expected to develop relationships with clients by building rapport, meeting or exceeding client expectations, expanding engagements and establishing Interact as the go-to partner for future opportunities.

The Account Manager will manage interns.

The Account Manager will report directly to the Account Supervisor or Account Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Relations
    • Develop and maintain successful relationships with key clients.
    • Position yourself as a partner for clients and advocate for the agency.
    • Lead Tier 3 projects by facilitating key conversations, guiding clients through our process and providing support on Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects.
    • Respond to client inquiries regarding new scopes or projects, build scope and timeline accordingly.
    • Immerse yourself in clients' brand, business, category, dynamics, and challenges.
    • Stay updated on relevant trends in the food and beverage industry, branding, design, innovations, and sustainability, and share client specific findings when appropriate.
    • Monitor projects for delays and scope creep, taking appropriate action when necessary.
    • Accurately record all client communications and approvals.
  • Account Team Support
    • Provide mentorship, support, and task delegation to the Account Coordinator and/or Account Intern.
    • Schedule internal and client meetings, actively contribute to discussions, take detailed notes, and distribute them to the project team.
    • Partner with the Creative Services Director and Account Director to coordinate project resourcing, budgets, SOW and timelines for new with existing clients.
    • Ensure projects stay on track, adhering to agreed upon timelines and budgets.
    • Attend and actively participate in Account Team huddles.
    • Share thought leadership and industry-relevant articles to stay up to date on trends.
    • Identify and engage in ongoing educational opportunities.
  • Creative Process / Creative Project Management
    • Collaborate effectively with Creative and Strategic leads.
    • Have a comprehensive understanding of the client's brief and key objectives.
    • Maintain the highest level of quality control in all agency services and deliverables.
    • Conduct thorough proofreading of presentations, mechanical files, etc.
    • Record accurate timekeeping daily into the agency’s time management software maintaining at least 85% of billable time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-5 years of experience in the branding and/or advertising industry
  • Experience supporting and leading clients & projects
  • Available to work 9am-5pm MST
  • Location: Remote or in-studio in Austin, TX or NYC
  • Remote employees must be located in these states: CA, CO, TX, MA, NC, NY, OR, WA

SALARY

$55,000- $70,000

Starting base salary depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.

This position is eligible for bonus pay.
