Job summary

A packaging and solutions provider is seeking a results-driven Sales Account Manager for the Maryland area. In this role, you will grow our presence in Central/Western PA and Maryland by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of B2B sales experience, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 30% within the territory. Sales Account Manager – Central/Western PA & Maryland Territory

What You’ll Do

• Grow the business – Identify, qualify, and close new customer opportunities within your territory.
• Leverage relationships – Cultivate strong connections with our channel partners and end-users to drive sales and market share.
• Strategize for success – Develop winning sales strategies, create accurate forecasts, and stay ahead of the competition.
• Deliver solutions – Collaborate with operations, customer service, engineering, and product development to deliver competitive, effective solutions that meet customer needs.
• Manage the details – Stay on top of pricing, profitability, CRM updates, and other administrative tasks—because details matter.
• Be hands-on – Have the willingness and mechanical aptitude to perform basic machine repairs when needed.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree (Business or Packaging Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience with a proven track record in prospecting and closing new business.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivation to deliver results with minimal oversight.
• Ethical, organized, and highly effective at managing your time and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time within your territory.
