Trane is Hiring an Account Manager - Join our Team and Drive Business Growth! We seek an ambitious, results-driven Account Manager passionate about building customer relationships and driving revenue. Your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain customer relationships, ensuring maximum revenues through strategic account penetration, including acquiring new customers while retaining current ones.

Where is the work:

This position is designated as Remote within the specified geography, with work performed in Austin, TX.

What you will do:
  • Generate budgeted sales; manage mix and pricing to achieve margin goals and grow market share in the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute an account-specific business plan to identify long-term, mutual support requirements for a strong, profitable partnership.
  • Identify customers’ problems and needs, and create action plans to meet them.
  • Ascertain market opportunities and analyze sales data.
  • Attend sales meetings, report sales activity, new account development, and promotional efforts.
  • Travel within the territory daily, with some overnight travel.
What you will bring:
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Development or an Associate’s Degree (AA) in lieu of experience.
  • Successful experience in Business Development and Sales.
  • CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years, including DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, etc.
Compensation:

Starting at $75,000, with an incentive plan. Total compensation includes a commission/incentive plan, with actual pay depending on seniority, merit, and geographic location.
