Laird Plastics, a leading supplier of plastic sheets, rods, and films, seeks an Inside Sales Representative in Chicago to drive customer growth and service excellence. You will consult with new and existing customers to build your book of business through outstanding service, offering trusted plastics brands and solutions.

You’ll generate quotes, process orders, and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery, while supporting the sales force to expand market share and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a BA/BS is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-selling environment with flexibility.
• Solid negotiation abilities and customer service focus.
• Proficient computer skills and basic business software.
• Honesty and integrity in all business interactions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and loyalty.
• Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up post-sale.
• Provide product information to inquiring customers.
• Identify opportunities through outbound calls to accounts.
• Collaborate with office and warehouse teams for accurate processing.
• Support outside sales to grow market share.
• Assist with inventory management based on customer needs.
