Job summary

MarketStar is seeking an Account Executive to join our Reddit team in Ogden, UT, hybrid. You will own the full sales cycle from lead to close, engaging with small to mid-sized businesses and delivering Reddit advertising solutions.

You will manage a pipeline, develop tailored recommendations from performance data, and strive to exceed monthly and quarterly targets while maintaining CRM discipline and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in quota-carrying, inside sales, or similar roles.
• Structured sales process knowledge (prospecting, discovery, presenting, closing).
• Proven results orientation with measured quotas/KPIs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a high-volume pipeline.
• Exceptional client relationship management and trust-building abilities.
• Ability to maintain accurate CRM records and use sales/advertising/reporting platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engagement via phone, email, etc.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven team.
• Resilience, problem-solving, and adaptability to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a pipeline of SMB to mid-market prospects from outreach through close and campaign launch.
• Generate new business through cold calling, personalized emails, and other sales activities.
• Execute a structured sales process including discovery, solution development, objection handling, and closing.
• Conduct discovery to understand client needs, goals, and advertising objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers as a trusted partner.
• Translate client needs and performance into Reddit advertising recommendations.
• Manage multiple opportunities with prioritization and proactive follow-ups.
• Aim to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and client interactions in CRM.
• Participate in coaching, call reviews, and training to improve skills.
• Apply Reddit advertising best practices and ensure compliance with policies.
