Mediacom Communications is seeking an Account Executive for OnMedia to build and maintain local business relationships and generate revenue through tailored advertising solutions. You will manage campaigns across digital and linear platforms, targeting retail and B2B clients, with a consultative selling approach.

The role emphasizes achieving monthly revenue goals, reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Creative with digital and linear ad campaigns.
• 1–3 years of B2B/direct or outside sales experience.
• Sales-driven, team-player with people-oriented values.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computer software and technology.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willing to travel locally using own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities across the sales cycle including face-to-face meetings, prospecting, cold calls, needs analysis, proposal creation, and ad campaign management.
• Read, learn, and stay curious about successful advertising strategies in digital and linear campaigns.
• Create multi-channel advertising campaigns for local business owners, agencies, and decision makers.
• Aim to achieve monthly revenue goals.
• Complete all sales paperwork including reports, traffic, and credit applications.
• Report to work per assigned schedule and perform other duties as needed.
