Job summary

PLS Logistics Services is seeking a Sales Representative in St. Louis to serve as a key resource for customers, helping ship freight nationwide around the clock 24/7/365.

The role includes paid training, a base salary of $47,000, and uncapped commissions to reward performance. You will learn the logistics business, negotiate pricing, resolve client service issues, and build a growing client portfolio with the support of experienced leaders and a collaborative team.

• Be open to coaching and learning while putting in the time and effort to be successful.
• Update tracking system accurately throughout the day.
• Be the trusted advisor to your customer, helping manage their logistics challenges.
• Liaise with Logistics Coordinators to help shoulder your load and allow you to bring in more business.
• Seek out promotional opportunities to move up the ranks.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the industry, including rates, capacities, and carriers.
