Responsibilities

• Ensure continued and increased growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers, understanding customer needs, and providing customer support.
• Travel as required.

Qualifications

• General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO State Insurance License.
• Six years as a group health insurance account executive, or four years as a group health insurance account executive plus two years in claims, customer service, or managed health care experience that requires self‑direction, initiative, decision making, and analysis, or a bachelor’s degree and four years as a group health insurance account executive.
• Thorough knowledge of managed care products (HMO, PPO), funding types (FI, ASO, TPA), processes, and trends.
• Experience with complex accounts.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to travel.
• Experience addressing customer needs, making sound decisions, and building strong customer relations.
• Experience analyzing reports and financial information; possess analytical and financial analysis skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills; negotiation skills, and presentation skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation: $76,000.00 - $113,900.00
