Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead | Recruiting from Scratch

As our first Go-To-Market hire, you'll play an instrumental role in scaling our operations and shaping our future growth.
What You Will Do
- Lead and own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and deal closure.
- Build and nurture relationships with founders at startups, and talent leads at growing companies.
- Strategically leverage our recruiting offerings to meet your revenue goals.
- Create decks to prep for meetings, improve the process, and help onboarding clients with the Account Management (AM) team.
- Build out the sales operations side of things, and pick the tools you want
Ideal Candidate Background
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years' experience in a sales closing role, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Growth Marketer
- You have thrown events previously, especially in major metro areas like SF, NYC, Seattle, or Austin
- You are impressive at cold emailing, prospect outreach, and relationship-building.
- You're self motivated, entrepreneurial, comfortable working remotely, and you can work independently
- You are familiar with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Recruiterflow, and Apollo
- You like to test and run growth experiments - especially with AI
- You have organizational skills, you're detail-oriented, and you have a commitment to clear and consistent communication.
Preferred
- You sourced and closed deals in recruitment, staffing, or HR solutions.
- You have experience in startup or high-growth environments.
- You have worked remotely in the past with success.
- You have existing relationships within the VC/startup community.
Compensation and Benefits
- Variable Compensation: $40,000 OTE
- Annual Performance Bonus: 10% of base salary
- Total OTE: $106,000 - $128,000 with potential for uncapped growth
