Summary

As an Account Executive, you'll be the face of the business—networking, meeting prospects over coffee or lunch, and converting contacts into long-term clients. You’ll manage the full sales cycle: researching products, submitting quotes, upselling, and collaborating with the operations team to ensure timely, on-budget, high-quality delivery.

You’ll handle multiple projects, introduce new products to existing clients, and ensure repeat business. The role focuses on making connections, solving problems, and closing deals.

Responsibilities for Account Executive:

  • Engage with clients to understand project scope, budgets, and timelines
  • Target sales efforts by analyzing current and potential business volume
  • Prepare and present bids to clients
  • Become proficient in Salesforce to track, monitor, and grow accounts and sales
  • Qualify inbound leads, prospects, and spend 2-3 days in the field for meetings and networking
  • Conduct virtual demonstrations to secure new business
  • Identify and understand client needs
  • Attend trade shows and host customer events
  • Exhibit strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Pay close attention to costs and budgets
  • Learn and master project management systems and CRM software
  • Research and find solutions for unique event requests
  • Maintain flexibility to attend outside standard working hours
  • Have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Being local to Atlanta is a plus
  • Willingness to participate in local chapter events (MPI, ILEA, NACE, etc.)
