The Role
The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This role involves prospecting for potential customers, building strong relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Account Executive will work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s customer base. Account Executives are expected to possess excellent communication skills, a results-driven mindset, and a passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation
  • Identify and research prospects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads.
  • Qualify leads and move them through the sales pipeline.
Sales Presentations and Proposals
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals.
Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide solutions to meet their objectives.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and other departments to support sales efforts.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to ensure a smooth handoff and seamless customer experience.
  • Share market feedback and insights to inform product development and strategy.

The Salary
In accordance with local regulations in jurisdictions where CodeSignal may hire, we are projecting an annual total on-target earnings (OTE) in the range of USD$200K-$240K. This range is based on San Francisco benchmarks and encompasses all seniority levels eligible for this position. Offer packages often contain additional compensation in the form of commission bonuses, equity, and/or benefits. Offers are awarded on an individual basis and are subject to factors such as, without limitation, a candidate’s level of experience, growth trajectory, and local labor market. Employees' compensation is reviewed and adjusted regularly.
