Job summary

Viking Electric in Sheboygan, WI is hiring an Account Representative to partner with Key and Field Account Managers. You will grow account volume and profitability by promoting Viking Electric's products and services, including digital solutions, while negotiating pricing and securing orders.

The role requires strong communication, a high school diploma or GED, and authorization to work in the United States. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a daytime Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new technology.
• Attention to detail with organized skills.
• Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and follow up on quotes and sales opportunities to secure orders.
• Negotiate job pricing with vendors and source products efficiently.
• Solicit new business from assigned accounts and promote Viking Electric's services.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Support other sales associates to create a cooperative team approach to customer service.
• Assist with pricing strategy and price rule modifications as needed.
• Maintain electronic files for all customer information and past conversations.
